Ashwin Kakumanu  is an Indian film actor, who is best known for his role in Venkat Prabhu's action thriller, Mankatha. Ashwin initially unsuccessfully auditioned for a role in Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa. The director Gautham Menon was close to giving him the role.
